Endoscopic ultrasonography showed results suggesting muscularis propria invasion (white arrows). Endoscopic submucosal dissection was performed. The final histologic report revealed a grade 2 NET, 9 mm in size, with a mitotic count index of 3/10 high-power fields and a Ki-67 index of 5%. The patient was positive for lymphovascular and perineural invasion, and deep resection margins were observed.
