Recently, interventional EUS has become widely accepted and well established as a diagnostic and therapeutic modality for pancreato-biliary diseases. Many of these procedures have become standards of care while others continues to be developed. In order for interventional EUS to advance further, endoscopists need to fully understand the indications, technique, clinical outcomes and safety etc. of each procedure. Therefore, we picked up eight interesting topics of interventional EUS, and invited experts in this fields.
We are very pleased to be able to create wonderful edition that exceed expectations with everyone’s great support.
We are deeply grateful to all invited authors for their monumental contributions to the edition, and to the Gastrointestinal Intervention for granting us the opportunity to further our education.
We hope this edition will be helpful to leaders, students of interventional EUS and patients.
Sincerely,
